We have established a small local group of like-minded friendly people who have an interest in the Natural history of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

If you are interested in our countryside and its Natural History, be it to observe and ponder or get involved in recording or research, or just go on a ramble you would be very welcome to join us.

We hope to meet locally on a monthly basis, for visiting Nature Reserves throughout the Lincs/Notts region, and other places of interest. Talks and other events may be arranged, with possibly an annual 4-7 day Wildlife Trip to the Western Isles of Scotland or similar.

If you are interested please contact the BNA local Organiser

Dr Robert Tansey (Retford based) at the above address

Please Note: Map References
Map references are taken from the OS Explorer maps (usually sheet 166). Ring the leader for help with map references. The Hertfordshire Street Atlas is also useful in locating meeting places and uses the OS grid

Please Note: Outdoor Meetings
- It is advisable to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
- Sorry, but we do not allow dogs to accompany our walks.
- We would urge members to share car transport to events.
- If you need to arrange a lift, please telephone. However a spare seat cannot be guaranteed.
- Should you intend to join any outdoor activity somewhere other than at the meeting place, the leader should be told in advance. We remind you that you will not then know if the walk is cancelled or changed at the start.

BNA cannot be held responsible for any mishaps or accidents that may occur on Branch outings. There is public liability insurance cover for field and indoor meetings arranged by the Branch.

The insurance policy does not cover personal accidents.
