Field Workshops

The day began with natural history fieldwork around the meadows of Moulsham Mill’s historic watermill where Professor Benton, Sara Patton, Steve Rutherford, Tom Thomas and Roger Tabor led walks exploring the local riverside wildlife.

We would like to thank guest speaker Richard Mabey for taking part in the 2012 Symposium and for his talk entitled The map and the word: on watching and writing.
