If going direct be at Dart’s Farm at 10.15am (Post code EX3 0QH) visiting Dart’s Farm, the RSPB Reserves at Goosemoor and Bowling Green Marsh, the River Clyst, the Goat Walk and possibly Powderham. Packed lunch, hot drinks, warm clothes. Level An indoor meeting at The Castle Centre, Barnstaple at 7.30pm. A talk by Ali North on the release of Pine Martens on Dartmoor and Exmoor. Friends, neighbours and relations all welcome. Book stall and raffle. Admission £4 includes tea / coffee and biscuits. Meet at the former park and ride car park in Barnstaple behind Park School at 9.30am or if going direct at the Riverside Caravan Park (map ref SS 722 271) at 10am which has a cafe and toilets (Postcode EX36 3HG). Bring a packed lunch and A circular walk taking in woods, stream and downs near Lustleigh for birds, flowers and interesting butterflies. Meet at the former park and ride car park in Barnstaple near Park School at 9.30am, or if going direct, in the car park by the Drakeford Bridge (map ref SX 789 801) at 11am.
